The weather girl on the radio this morning predicted a 100% chance of rain tomorrow.
I know it does not rain alot out here in the desert so I may not be used to hearing rain forecasts, but that didn't sound right. If it is a 100% chance, wouldn't that eliminate the 'chance'? I know that in weather-speak the 'chance ' has to do with a percentage of specified earth that will be rained upon, so why not say, "It will rain tomorrow, everywhere within the sound of my voice."?
